Loto3000: €3000 in exceptional prizes to be won. Everything pretty much looks like a traditional lotto except for the prizes. And setting up. And players. And the unfolding. There is still a drawing of numbers.
But no programmed obsolescence toaster or Queen Elizabeth mug to be won.
A dematerialized lotto. A lotto that makes you dance.
A carnival lottery. A manifest lotto.
Composed of three episodes, this series was born from the desire to revisit known and codified unifying events. We seek to create devices that dilute the codes and disturb the benchmarks to take people into movement. The dancers, the amateur accomplices spread a physical contamination, the borders are blurred and the spectator himself becomes a performer. The artistic object becomes a meeting point between practice and creation.
