Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobie*, is a word that is a mirror of itself, a definition that goes round in circles. Like our fears – underlying obsessions – which return cyclically and thwart our sense of memory, the episodes play out, repeat and accelerate. Elements meet, lose all sense of chronology, loop like refrains, and emerge from the light. It is a film that we watch on repeat, a mirror for the absurd enumeration of our phobias.
